Inquiries and the contact form
When you contact us through the form, by email or by phone, we use the details you give us (name, email address, company, topic and message) only to answer your inquiry and, if we start working together, to manage that relationship. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Form messages are received and stored by our own website, on our web hosting at COSMOTE (OTE S.A.), and sent on to our mailbox. With each form the website keeps a scrambled form of your IP address for one hour to limit automated requests; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you have allowed analytics, the message also records how you reached our site: the first page you visited, the referring website and any campaign tag in the link.
Case study downloads
When you ask for the PDF copy of a case study, we record your email address, your company if you give it, the case study you asked for and the time. We keep this to know who is interested in our work. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding the demand for our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you have allowed analytics, the record also notes how you reached our site.
We send you email about our products and services only if you tick the box on the form. The legal basis is then your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by writing to info@elpra.gr.
Analytics — only with your consent
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site and which pages lead to inquiries. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and processes your IP address and information about your device and browser. Nothing is loaded before you click “Allow analytics”, and you can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Hosting, security and maps
This website is hosted by COSMOTE (OTE S.A.), which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks. Our fonts are served from our own site, not from third-party font services. The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps: when you open that page, your browser loads the map from Google, which receives your IP address and may set its own cookies.
Recipients and international transfers
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. Our service providers (COSMOTE and, with your consent, Google) process it on our behalf. Google is based in, and transfers data to, the United States; such transfers rely on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any resulting business relationship, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records. The copies held by the website itself, of inquiries and of case study downloads, are deleted after two years. Analytics data is kept for the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, or for its correction, erasure or restriction, object to its processing, or request a copy in a portable format. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to us at info@elpra.gr.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Cookies and browser storage
Without your consent this site sets no cookies. It remembers your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so that we do not ask again. With your consent, Google Analytics sets its cookies, and the page and campaign that brought you to the site are kept in your browser for the current visit so that an inquiry can be attributed to them.
